A salon is a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste and increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation. The objective of the Society’s first salon is to increase participants' understanding of intelligent manufacturing and fine tune directions for the Society through informal personal interactions. No PowerPoint presentations will be made, but participants are expected to share their knowledge verbally with other participants on materials, intelligent manufacturing and structural integrity.
